Luke is an 8 year old mini gelding that was brought to our rescue by Farm Sanctuary in NY. Luke had been part of a large rescue case they had helped with. He had been severely neglected, not castrated, and was living with goats. After meeting Luke on a visit to their sanctuary, we offered to let Luke come to our rescue, where he could begin to learn how to live with other geldings, and find donkey friends. He was very nervous around people when he first arrived, but quickly settled in and eventually became one of the favorites. He’s very sweet, and really enjoys attention. He and Moses became good friends, and were adopted together.
