Eddie is small mule gelding who was sent to us from another organization after they rescued him from a neglect case in 2018, when he was about 14 years old.  At the time of his rescue, he had not (yet) been gelded, and had not had any hoof or dental care.  He was living in a small, disgusting paddock, and his feet had grown very long and painful. Eddie had not been handled much at all and he was very fearful. But Eddie is brave and curious, even though he is nervous. He enjoys playing with the other geldings, and especially – now that his feet have recovered from the neglect – racing across the pasture with his friends. And Eddie has a noble side: after a mini mule named Pepe died, Eddie befriended and comforted Pepe’s brother, Paco. Eddie and Paco are now best friends.
