Libby and her friend Daisy were surrendered during the last week of December 2018. These girls spent the previous 5 years in a wonderful home, well-loved and cared for. However, as often happens, one of their owners became very ill, and this family reached out to us to take their donkeys. Both donkeys needed some special care, and their owners knew our rescue would be the best place for them. Although their circle has expanded to include other donkeys, Libby and Daisy remain extremely close to one another. When Daisy had an eye removed, Libby accompanied her to the equine hospital to furnish the comfort and support that only a best friend can provide.
