Daisy Mae is a standard jenny who was 7 years old when surrendered in 2018. This very frightened jenny was purchased at an auction by a well-meaning individual who wished to save her from being sold for slaughter. Unfortunately, Daisy Mae was so terrified of humans that her new owner was overwhelmed. So, they reached out to us to see if we could take her. She is a very sweet donkey who has come so far since her arrival, but she is still very wary, taking her time to evaluate every situation before deciding if she wants to participate. Her training continues, and we will give her all the time she wants to learn to trust humans.
