Little Longears is a working farm focused on the care of our donkeys.
We are open only for scheduled farm tours and events throughout the year. All visits require advance booking to ensure the safety and comfort of our herd.
*If you are a MONTHLY sponsor of one of our donkeys, please email us separately, and we will schedule a visit for you to come see the donkey you sponsor.

Lunch with the Longears!
May 2, 2026
11:00 am – 2:00 pm
Spend time wandering through the paddocks, meeting the donkeys and getting to know their unique personalities. There will be plenty of opportunities for photos and lots of donkey hugs along the way.

We’ll be serving a relaxed, picnic-style lunch with refreshments, including vegan and vegetarian options. You’ll be able to sit back and enjoy the farm with donkeys in every direction. Seating will primarily be on straw bales; feel free to bring a camping chair for added comfort.

A visit to Little Longears will introduce you to the sweet, friendly, affectionate and sometimes mischievous donkeys who call this sanctuary home. During your tour, you’ll learn the stories of many of our residents, learn about what problems donkeys face and why our rescue is necessary. We’ll walk you around the entire farm and you’ll be able to mingle with our more friendly donkeys. Be prepared to be swarmed, as they are incredibly curious and affectionate! Each visit will start at 1:00 pm and last approximately one and a half to two hours.
Tours begin May 8 and end November 14, 2026. For safety reasons, we ask that all children be over the age of 8.
