Little Longears is a working farm and is not open to the public.
Our two annual events and the farm tour schedule have been established to give everyone a chance to visit our farm. The dates for the events and the farm tours are fixed for the entire season and must be booked in advance*.
This policy ensures optimal safety, security, and efficiency for both visitors and farm operations.
We appreciate your cooperation and understanding in adhering to this guideline.
*If you are a MONTHLY sponsor of one of our donkeys, please email us separately, and we will schedule a visit for you to come see the donkey you sponsor.
Farm Tours
A visit to Little Longears will introduce you to the sweet, friendly, affectionate and sometimes mischievous donkeys who call this sanctuary home. During your tour, you’ll learn the stories of many of our donkeys, learn about what problems donkeys face and why our rescue is necessary. We’ll walk you around the entire farm, and you’ll be able to mingle with our more friendly donkeys. Be prepared to be swarmed by donkeys, as they are incredibly curious and affectionate! Each visit will last approximately one and a half to two hours.
To sign up for a tour look for the date you would like to visit on the calendar. Click on the month and the drop down will appear. Choose the month you are interested in visiting and press GO!
Tours begin May 8 and end November 14, 2025. For safety reasons, we ask that all children be over the age of 5.
